Welcome to Manic Monday.....

I know that some think Manic is bad, but its not. It just means that some part of your day move a crazy pace. I don't mind the manic part/time of my day. It fly's by.

Yesterday I was sent an email that might have had a virus attacked, so I ran Live care one yesterday, my virus and spyware program and ever since my computer has been slow. So I am running it again this morning. The person that had the problem, was very fast to noitify everyone, but like a fool I opened and clicked the link before I got to the "good news". I responded back wanting to know why they send me suck an email. I was a bit shocked at where the link lead me, but once everything was explained I understood much better. I guess it might have sent out texts also, but I didn't get that.

So what did you do yesterday? I done nothing, only left the house to check the mail and take the kids for a walk and ran on the treadmill for 2 miles. Today is my day off, but I am heading into work, as I promissed to cover a shift for someone. And I know I wont be called off this time. Dang it!

Well guess I should get my day started. I wish you all a great day. Be safe in all you do, and remember, YOU are loved by someone in Riverside.

Good morning Lu and Cali,

Today is back to work.  I am trying to get this audit completed before the end of the year (at least the review the report won't be completed until January).  Got a few things done yesterday, family portrait, grocery shopping and put some clothes away.  Still need to finish the laundry!

Well hope you all have a great day.

Good Morning LU and the rest of the crowd!  Happy Manic Monday!

Yesterday I had such a good time.  We all got up and ventured up in the mountains to go cut our Christmas Tree!  We had 9 trucks in the caravan and we all went up past Weed to Military Pass road.  High enough that there was snow to play in, and we all ventured out and had such a good time selecting just the right tree.  Then back to the trucks for left overs in sandwiches.  Somehow all the fresh air makes turkey and ham taste sooooo much better!.

We took the sleds for the kids to play on and so I snagged one and along with Jayden we slid down the road a few times.  What a glorious feeling to be able to fit my once huge seating apparatus into a sled and slide down the hill with my step-kid.  That alone made my day.

Puppies are all getting big.  They're 8 days old now and any time now should be opening their eyes.  I have to get their new "room" set up for them.  It is a large potato box from the grocery store and the "super yard gate" which will give them enough playing room but not the run of the house.   One of the people at our Thanksgiving celebration really wanted one of my puppies but I had to turn her down.  I will not knowingly turn an animal over to someone when I know it will be abused, neglected, abandoned and mistreated.  They're lazy.  They won't train it and when it does something bad I know they will abuse it.  It'll end up being tied to a 6' chunk of rope and maybe fed once or twice a week.  I won't do it.  And I told her so.  She's now mad at me, but I don't care.  I'm right and I will be standing my ground.  Period.

Today finds me back at work. More paper to shovel.   Oh,well.  The paycheck is the goal, right?

Remember to take your vitamins, drink your water and to dance like nobody's watching!

Good Morning Lu and Cali Crew!!

Sorry to hear about your computer, Lu. I know from experences, how frustrating that can be, trying to save what you can and redoing what you have lost! If my hair wasn't already falling out from surgery-- I would have pulled it out! Lol. I got my virus from a email from fb. But now its all fine. Hang in there.
I had an awesome past 5 days. On Wed, I saw 12 ladies, that I haven't seen since high school, but we have been reconnecting on facebook. We had a fabulous time! We went to the casino in Highland and talked and laughed. We have a different relationship now, then when we were teens, but that base is still there.
On Thursday, I cooked Thanksgiving at my moms. For 6 people. Small, nice. I guess I was in the cooking mood, because on Friday, I cooked my mom and brother a pot roast dinner. Came out yummy! Then Saturday, my sister and I cooked for my semi-big family, only 25 people showed up. We had a lot of fun, no big family blow-ups. Yesterday, spent the day at a park in San Dimas, for one of my nephew's 1st ever birthday party and he is 6!! Actually, he is my brother-in-laws nephew, but they were fostering him for a while. Now he thinks of us, as his aunts, uncles, cousins, and my mom is still grandma. He is a drug baby, and his mom wants nothing to do with him or his brother. Their dad, I can't say really tries, but what can you do. My sister and BIL, try their best with both boys.
I hope everybody had a great weekend. Congratulations to those that tried their best on their 1st holiday meal, pre or post-op! I wish everybody a fantastic day and a fabulous week!

Good Morning Everyone,

At work, and I really don't want to be here. I think I left my head on the pillow. Just hoping it isn't going to be a long day. Finally got some pictures up on the wall at the house, and actually pulled out some Christmas decorations. Still not sure if I will get a tree or not. Not much else going on, this is my first of 3 days of work. I even signed up for some extra shifts. I must be crazy. There is an area rug I want for the livingroom, so I have to keep that in mind. Well, I should get back to work. I hope everyone has a fabulous Monday.

Good Morning,

Wow, what a great day I had yesterday,  My house looks like Christmas.  Tree up, all the house decorated.  I spent my entire day downstairs working.  It was really tiring, but so much fun,  I have some finishing details that I do extra on my decorations so I will do that this week.

As I had said before, our Holiday was great.  We had so many kids here and it is so strange for my house to be full of kids, but what they brought to this place was laughter.  OMG, it was a blast, and both my sisters loved the whole thing.  It was so much better this year too, we took out our best PLASTIC china and no one had to do dishes.  Everything in the trash.

I had promised to call someone from here on their surgery and I had cleaned out my inbox and there went her phone number too.  I can't even remember her name  I need to go back and look and see if I can find her post, I need to apologize.  There were two newbies having surgery on the same day, anyone remember???

Ok everyone, let's get back on the protein wagon, out with the carbs, back to proteins, drinking your water, taking those vitamins, and exercise.  Even if you don't do a lot of that, when you go shopping, park farther away from the store walk a little extra.  Even I am using a cane most of the time now and walking more, so if I can get my fat butt into walking, all you others have NO excuse.

Off to the shower for me, got a cardiologist appt today, just a check up I am fine.  Doug has 14 working days left, and 3 of them are parties...YEAH!  He wanted to leave a mark on the county and I think he has.  I don't know of anyone who has had 3 retirement parties,  he was and is very well liked in this county and I for one, am so very proud....proud of him, and proud to be his wife, his THINNER wife.  I will never forget one man that didn't know I had lost weight, he saw me about 5 month ago and thought I was a different woman, that Doug had married someone else, then he realized it was still me.  That was fun!

Hugs to all, love yourselves.  Diane

Hey Cali,

I can honestly say that I have had the most fun this weekend than I have had in a very long time...hiking, cooking, eating, laughing, knitting, driving, laptop shopping or coffee with friends, it did not matter to me; it was all fun.

This morning I had to leave out early to move my car.  Let's hope that today is the last day I will have to do that.  I am going to talk to the manager this evening regarding this situation.  Wish me luck.

Lu- sorry to hear you have computer problems. Glad you worked it out.

More Love and Peace,
Kim

Good morning Lu and the rest of Cali...

Computers have been down here at the office most of the morning.  They still pretty much are, but I seem to be able to get to the internet so I'm taking advantage of it while it lasts.  Hopefully they will get it all fixed finally.  We have been having bad computer problems for 2 weeks now and being that everything I do has to be done on the computer, it makes working just a bit difficult.

Had a doctor's appointment this morning with my allergist.  He thinks I may be dealing with a system-wide yeast infection and I've probably had it for years.  I think he may be right.  So I have a new prescription for some meds and we'll see what happens.  This will be so great if he is right and alot of the problems I've been having that didn't seem allergy related are finally taken care of.  I'll keep you all posted on that one.

Yesterday turned out to be a very lazy day.  Didn't do much of anything but a load of laundry and make a couple of steaks for me and Mike for dinner.  Other than that I did some reading, watched some TV, played some computer games and I would have done my cross stitch but I left that at my sister's house on Thursday.  Who knows when I'll see that again.  I could ask her to mail it to me, but that will never happen.  I will probably have to take a ride up there to get it.  It's not that it's all that far (only about 45 minutes to an hour) but it's just a hassle and every weekend is jam packed until the end of the year.  Oh well, I guess I'll figure something out.

I hope everyone has a really great back to work Monday.  Remember, with everything you have to do today to get back in the work mode after the holiday, do something special just for yourself.

Stephanie,

You cross-stitch?  I love to cross-stitch!  Do you do the counted or the printed?
